The views of the valley were beautiful, the room was bright and fabulous. The beds were super. The location near a lovely local pub with absolutely delicious food was a plus. Everything was fabulous, no reason to complain, I recommend it.

Well-maintained rooms, magnificent views over the gardens and countryside beyond. A huge variety of facilities such as: a TV set and a lounge area. Location near the gardens and countryside, the rose tunnel which must be breathtaking in summer, and wildlife.

We got amazing value for our money at Hotel Endsleigh. The room was comfortable and not overly flashy, just perfect for a cozy stay. The location was absolutely breathtaking, situated in a beautiful part of the countryside away from any hustle and bustle. The staff treated us like royalty, they were friendly, polite, and went above and beyond to help us. Special shoutout to Chef Jose for his advice and great character!

The only thing that could make the breakfast menu better would be to provide a little guide of "things to do, places to eat, experiences to book" in the room or as a pre-arrival email.

We were impressed by the impeccable food and friendly service at this hotel. The well-maintained gardens and enchanting walks through trees and waterfalls were standout features. Additionally, the hotel had a nice touch of providing wellies and raincoats which made our stay comfortable. Lastly, the hotel had splendid views down to the river which added to our overall experience.

    Everything was fantastic.

I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say, it was absolutely stunning. The location is beautiful, particularly in the summer, as it is surrounded by breathtaking countryside. The grounds are well-maintained and offer a lovely garden/parkland setting for a leisurely stroll. The rooms are quiet and the beds are incredibly comfortable. I was impressed with the beautiful furnishings and the unique antiques that added a touch of charm to the room. The public areas are spacious and comfortable, with the option for outdoor dining on the terrace if the weather permits.

I would highly recommend this place to family and friends. It is a total gem, with a historic charm that is relevant and a luxury that is casually friendly.

Had a cozy Christmas here. Enjoyed the warm fire in the reception area and the lovely walk in the grounds. Good location not far from the town. The staff were polite.

The Christmas dinner menu was not to our personal taste and the portion size was small. The service was slow and it took over an hour for the food to arrive at our table. The room was smaller than expected and the bathroom needed maintenance.

The location of the hotel down the rose tunnel is breathtaking in summer, with an impressive view down to the river. The room was charming and spacious, with antique wooden furniture and a comfy bed. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, well-lit, and had plenty of shelves and cubbyholes for personal belongings. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options, and the staff was enthusiastic and professional. The picturesque gardens and peaceful ambiance were a real delight.

One previous reviewer found that the public rooms could benefit from an update, but the overall experience was still satisfactory.

What a wonderful weekend! The hotel was in a stunning countryside location with beautiful grounds to explore. The hand-painted wallpaper in the room was a lovely touch and the claw foot bath with locally sourced products was a highlight. The staff were so friendly and thoughtful, making tea and coffee for us and offering an extensive wine and spirits menu. Breakfast was delicious, with a range of options including fresh fruit and a full English breakfast.

That the dinner menu did not cater to our personal tastes and the prices were not transparent, leaving us with an unexpectedly high bill for a dish that was just average. Despite this, the location and service more than made up for it and we would definitely return for another visit.

    Beautiful surroundings with stunning views

Attentive and friendly staff. Delicious food and good selection of wine

Outdated and worn-out furnishings in the public areas. Slow service at times during dinner.

Our weekend getaway was in a stunning country house, surrounded by beautiful grounds and a peaceful atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the delicious food and the extensive wine selection, which added to the overall dining experience.

Our experience was marred by some disappointing aspects. We encountered long waiting times, both for drinks on the patio and between courses during dinner.

Had a fantastic weekend getaway! The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel grounds were stunning, with beautiful gardens to explore. The location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Plus, the food was delicious and the service at dinner was top-notch.

The room was a bit small and lacked some modern amenities. The WiFi didn't work and the lighting could have been improved.
